Material Library
The Material Library has been designed to display variations in the material, related to the employment of the two recyclates types: rCF (recycled carbon fibers) and shGFRP (shredded glass fiber reinforced polymer). Changing the amount of recyclate, its size and trying different finishes, you will notice how the material changes. Matrix material (epoxy resin) has been kept constant in order to better compare the recyclates.
NAMING
Each material has been identified with a specific sample name, related to the displayed features, reinforcement employed and manufacturing route, for example: shGFRP 20% – 100 µm – gelcoat
shGFRP = recyclate type
20% = weight percent of recyclate
100 µm = recyclate size / fibers length
gelcoat = Finishing
